TNSTC Driver and Conductor Recruitment 2023 :  TNSTC, or Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation, is a government-owned public transportation organization in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It operates buses to provide intra-state and inter-state transportation services to the public. The term “Driver cum Conductor” refers to a specific role within the TNSTC, where an individual serves both as a bus driver and a conductor on the same bus.  In this combined role:  

1. Driver Responsibilities: The individual operates the bus, ensuring safe and efficient driving practices. This includes following traffic rules, maintaining the bus in good condition, and ensuring the safety of passengers and pedestrians.  
2. Conductor Responsibilities: The individual also takes on the duties of a conductor, which involve interacting with passengers, issuing tickets, collecting fares, assisting passengers with information about routes and stops, and maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the bus.
