About TCS Ignite and Smart Hiring
TCS offers a unique opportunity for graduates from **BCA, B.Sc (IT, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Data Science, Statistics, Cyber Security, Biochemistry, Electronics), and B.Voc (CS/IT)** streams from the batch of 2024 and 2025.
This program is designed to help science graduates build rewarding careers in IT, even if they do not have traditional engineering backgrounds. Students for both **TCS Ignite and Smart Hiring** will take a single, integrated test.
TCS B.Sc Ignite – TCS B.Sc Ignite & Smart Hiring 2025
- Selected students will join the **‘Science to Software’** program, which provides specialized IT training in cutting-edge technologies and a comprehensive global IT career experience.

Eligibility Criteria – TCS B.Sc Ignite & Smart Hiring 2025
- Courses and Discipline: BCA, B.Sc, B.Voc (CS/IT) graduates from 2024 or 2025 batches.
- Percentage: Minimum 50% aggregate in all academic stages (10th, 12th, Diploma if applicable, and Graduation).
- Backlogs: No active backlogs allowed during the selection process or at the time of joining.
- Educational Gap: Maximum gap of 24 months in education with relevant documentation.
- Course Types: Only full-time courses are considered; part-time or correspondence courses are ineligible.
- Age: Minimum 18 years and maximum 28 years.
Application Process – TCS B.Sc Ignite & Smart Hiring 2025
- Log in to the TCS Next Step Portal.
- Ensure details match Aadhaar information. Incorrect details may lead to disqualification.
- Register for TCS Ignite & Smart Hiring:
- For registered users: Log in, complete the application form, and click “Apply for Drive.”
- For new users: Click “Register Now,” select the “IT” category, and complete the application form.
- Select your test mode (In-centre) and preferred test centre. Note: Test centre selection cannot be changed.
- Confirm your status by checking “Track Your Application.” It should display “Applied for Drive.”
