Eligibility Criteria
- Junior Overman (Trainee):
- Diploma in Mining or Mining Engineering or equivalent qualification approved by the Central Government.
- Valid Overman’s Certificate of Competency from DGMS under Coal Mines Regulation 2017.
- Valid First Aid Certificate.
- Mining Sirdar (Selection Grade-I):
- Diploma or Degree in any subject other than Mining Engineering.
- Mining Sirdar Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS and Valid First Aid Certificate.
- (or) DGMS-issued Mining Diploma with Overman Competency Certificate and Valid First Aid Certificate.
Age Limit (As on 01.04.2025)
- Junior Overman (Trainee): 30 Years
- Mining Sirdar (Selection Grade-I): 30 Years
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 Years
- OBC: 3 Years
- PWD (General/EWS): 10 Years
- PWD (SC/ST): 15 Years
- PWD (OBC): 13 Years
- Ex-Servicemen: As per Govt. policy
