Job Roles :
- Operational Management: Handle day-to-day operations in various departments such as General Insurance, Finance, HR, IT, and more.

Salary / Pay Scale :
- Basic Pay: ₹50,925/month in the pay scale of ₹50,925 – ₹96,765.
- Total Emoluments: Approx. ₹85,000/month plus allowances (housing, medical benefits, insurance, etc.).
Qualifications: GIC Assistant Manager Recruitment 2024
1. General: 18 vacancies
- Qualification: Graduation in any discipline with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST). Desirable: Post Graduation/MBA.
2. Legal: 9 vacancies
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Law (recognized by Bar Council) with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST). Desirable: LLM or experience in Civil/Cyber law.
3. HR: 6 vacancies
- Qualification: Graduation with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) and Post Graduation in HRM/Personnel Management.
4. Engineering: 5 vacancies (Marine – 1, Aeronautical – 1, Mechanical – 1, Civil – 1, Electrical – 1)
- Qualification: B.E/B.Tech in respective disciplines with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST). Desirable: M.E/M.Tech/Experience in relevant field.
5. IT: 22 vacancies
- Qualification: B.E/B.Tech in IT/Computer Science/ECE/EEE or Graduate with MCA (minimum 60% marks). Desirable: Certifications in Cyber Security, Ethical Hacking, or IT project experience.
6. Actuary: 10 vacancies
- Qualification: Graduation with 60% marks and passed at least 7 papers of Actuarial Society.
7. Insurance: 20 vacancies
- Qualification: Graduation with Post Graduate Diploma/Degree in Insurance/Risk Management or FIII/FCII.
8. Medical: 2 vacancies
- Qualification: MBBS with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) and valid registration with IMA.
9. Finance: 18 vacancies
- Qualification: B.Com with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST). Desirable: MBA (Finance), CFA, CA, CMA, or M.Com.
