Age Limit :
- For SC / ST / SC(A) Candidates- 18 to 37 Years
- For BC / BC(M) / MBC/DC Candidates – 18 to 34 Years
- For “Others” [i.e. Candidates not belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs, and BCMs] – 18 to 32 Years
Salary/Pay and Grade Pay :
- Junior Reporter – Level 15 Rs.36,200 – 1,14,800/-
Essential Academic Qualifications: (TN CID Recruitment 2024)
- (i) Must have passed Plus 2 with Tamil as one of the Subjects.
- (ii) Must have passed Government Technical Examination in English Shorthand by Higher Grade / Senior Grade (120 w.p.m).
- (iii) Must have passed Government Technical Examination in English Typewriting by Higher Grade / Senior Grade (45 w.p.m).
- (iv) Working knowledge in Tamil Shorthand is required.
- (v) The candidate should possess sufficient working knowledge of computer in the day to day functioning of Office.
