ECGC Limited Recruitment 2023 : Export Credit Guarantee Corporation of India Ltd. (ECGC) is a central government-owned company headquartered in Mumbai, India. It was established in 1957 with the aim of promoting exports from India by providing credit insurance services to exporters and banks.  

ECGC provides export credit insurance covers to protect exporters from payment risks due to commercial or political reasons. The corporation also provides guarantees to banks and financial institutions to enable exporters to obtain better facilities from them.  

ECGC has a wide range of products and services such as export credit insurance covers, guarantees, letters of credit confirmation, and other related services. It also provides training and consultancy services to exporters on various aspects of international trade.  

ECGC operates through its branches across India and has tie-ups with international agencies to provide credit insurance services to Indian exporters. The corporation also collaborates with various industry associations and chambers of commerce to promote exports from India.  

ECGC plays a significant role in promoting India’s exports and helps exporters to mitigate the risks involved in international trade.

Age Limits : 

  • Probationary Officer (PO) – Minimum: 21 years, Maximum – 30 years

Essential Qualification Details :

  • Accounts (CA) – An Associate member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (CA), Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India (ICWA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)  
  • Legal – Bachelor of Law (LLB) from a recognized Indian University/Institution  
  • Company Secretary – CS qualified with ACS membership of Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI)  
  • Actuary – Student member of the Institute of Actuaries of India who has cleared at least 3 papers including CM1, CS1 and CS2 or its previous equivalents.  
  • IT – B Tech or BE in Computer Science / Information Technology or MCA with certificate course on Cyber Security of duration of at least 6 months.  
  • IT/CISO – B Tech or BE in Computer Science / Information Technology/Computer engineering/ Electronics & Instrumentation & ME/MTech/MS in Computer Science/ Information Technology/Information Security/Cyber Security Preference would be given to those who have core specialization in Cyber Security at PG level or certifications of CISSP/CISM/CompTIA CySA+/GSEC/OSCP  
  • Country Underwriting/ research – Master’s Degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Mathematical Economics/ Econometrics/ Statistics & Informatics from a recognized University.  Rajbhasha/ Hindi –  (i) Master’s degree in Hindi /Hindi Translation, with English as core/Elective/Major subject at the Bachelor’s Degree level with minimum 55%for SC/ST and 60% for others from a recognized University.; OR  (ii) Master’s degree in English with Hindi as core/elective/major subject at the bachelor’s degree level with minimum 55%for SC/ST and 60% for others from a recognized University. OR  (iii) Master’s degree in any discipline with English and Hindi as core/elective/major subjects at the bachelor’s degree level with minimum 55%for SC/ST and 60% for others from a recognized University. OR  (iv)Master’s degree in both English and Hindi/Hindi translation with minimum 55%for SC/ST and 60% for others from a recognized University.  
  • Data Science –  Master’s Degree in Data Science
